Packed for glass
Every jar is wrapped in corrugated cardboard and set in the box mouth-side down, because the mouth is the weakest part of a jar. Then we fill every gap with corn-based packing peanuts, pack it all tight in a sturdy box and ship it insured. We experience very little breakage each year (maybe 2-3 packages) and we're very proud of our shipping record.

From the 1970s or earlier, with embossed logos and a lot of history. Every one is checked for chips, cracks and rust, and once a style is gone we don't know when we'll find more.

Which lid fits?
It's easy to think a big jar needs a big lid and a small jar needs a small lid, but that's not quite how it works. Regular mouth jars can be big, and wide mouth jars can be small. The mouth is what decides the lid, so shop by mouth size here.
