About this jar
Rare and wonderfully roomy, this Bernardin has a shield design right in the middle of the glass. The square body is smooth on the back, so it's easy to label, and it tucks neatly into a pantry shelf or cupboard without wasting an inch.
Fill it with flour, oats or pasta, keep it by the sink as a big water jug, or gather yarn and craft supplies in one pretty spot. The wide opening makes it easy to scoop, pour and reach right in. It's also handy for large batches of stock or sauce for a big family table.
It works with any wide mouth lid in our shop.
History
From Evansville bottle caps to Canada's home-canning name, and the Gem lid canners fought to keep.
