Each jar is inspected and guaranteed free of cracks and rust. Due to their vintage nature, embossing depth may vary slightly.
'Flea bites', tiny chips in the rim, threding, neck or embossing of the jar are considered normal for a vintage jar and may be present as long as they don't hinder the safe use of the jar.

Do you date or value vintage jars or collections?
No, we don't value or date jars, though we do love to see pictures of your collections. We recommend The Red Book of Jars by Douglas M. Leybourne Jr. for your jar valuation needs. Keep in mind that the collector value and market value can vary wildly.
Are these jars new or used?
Given the age, we have to assume these jars are used. Some have slight signs of aging, small scratches in the surface, etc.
