We use these jars for "birdseed" which is what we call our keto granola. They are also perfect for storing leftovers and snacks in, they are super easy to see exactly what's in them so nothing gets forgotten about in the fridge or freezer! Still perfect for canning jams, jellies and salsa, of course.
The 1.5 litre wide mouth mason jars seem to be a rare find. I was very pleased that the jar arrived sooner then expected, and in perfect condition.

I was having issues finding lids and found Bernardin lids here. I was a bit nervous but went ahead with the order and VERY glad I did! All the lids sealed perfectly! Also, I love their quirky emails🤣
I compared the weight of a dozen wide-mouth Bernardin lids to a dozen Kerr lids: exactly the same! The rubber sealing right is thick and ever so slightly dimpled, just the same as Kerr & Ball sealing rubber. These lids are great. All jars sealed up. So glad I could buy these lids! Highly recommended!

I am a longtime canner. Once in a great while I can find Ball lids at the stores here in NYS. Had enough to finish my Fall canning and the occasional pressure canning of soups and stocks, but was really getting nervous for this coming season. The price is about double what I just paid at the local store when I saw four lone boxes on the shelf, but it was worth the price for my peace of mind. I used these to pressure can a small batch of bbq sauce this weekend. All four lids pulled down and sealed no problem. They are high quality like the Ball ones I usually buy, no metal warping like the cheap ones you can buy on Amazon. I’m very happy to have found Mason Jar Merchant and am ready for this year’s fruit and vegetable crop!
Regular sized lid fit a bit tight on some jars but was fine on others. I didn't realize the Ball lid was wide-mouth but luckily I have a wide-mouth jar and it fit great!
