This is one of the most collectible jars in our store, at least out of jars made in the last 100 years. Not only is it part of the cool kids crowd being a coveted 24 oz / 750ml jar, but we believe this jar is so rare and valuable because only about one-quarter of the jars produced (by Dominion Manufacturing in Canada) actually fit wide mouth lids. The other three quarters are just a hair too small and lead to one just infinitely screwing a lid on that won't stay put. Some commercial lids fit tighter than others and may work better than a standard canning lid on this jar, but we don't guarantee that any will fit. It's a quirk, but it is what makes the jar so special, and it is a beautiful addition to any jar collection!
