As a bonus, these gifts are pre-wrapped because of the mason jars. You'll save yourself even more time by not having to wrap your gifts AND you'll keep wrapping paper from the landfills. Its a win all around!
Fill a mason jar with something sweet and you've got a great little gift. We filled our jars with mini candy canes, Andes chocolate mints, Life Savers and Turtles. This is a super easy DIY gift perfect for a teacher, daycare worker, or colleague.
If you've already picked out a small gift like a body butter or chapstick, pair that with a few sweets. Add a chalkboard label to the jar lid to give it a little extra personalization.
Chances are you've already whipped up a batch or two of your favorite Christmas cookies. Filling a mason jar with some sweet homemade treats is a tasty addition to any gift. Perfect as a thank you gift for a host or hostess, or as an unexpected Christmas gift for your mail man!
If you don't have anything baked yet, chocolate covered pretzels are a quick and easy treat to whip up.
How to Make Chocolate Covered Pretzels
- In a small bowl microwave chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips. Be sure to stir the chocolate periodically and don't over heat.
- Dip pretzels into the melted chocolate and then lay on parchment paper to dry.
- Drizzle on another kind of chocolate, or sprinkle crushed candy canes on top to add a little more festive flare!
- Once the chocolate has dried, layer in a mason jar!

Create your own mason jar Christmas scenes with this glittery snow! Use hot glue to glue a Christmas tree, figurine or toy car (really whatever your heart desires!) to the bottom of a mason jar and then fill with as much snow as you like! Seal with a mason jar lid and your gift is ready to deliver!
