Jar rings sold separately here. Please note, you MUST use vintage Gem rings with the glass lids. Modern rings made to go with snap lids (thin metal canning lids) will NOT fit over glass Gem lids.
Fits all Gem mouth jars (78mm).
Expect variations in production numbers on lid. Guaranteed to be chip, crack and rust free.

New Gem snap lids and bands
The new ForJars Gem snap lids are very good, but for some reason they refuse to sell the bands in their US store or ship them to the US from their Canadian store.
Here's to MasonJarMerchant, who is happy to sell them to you whichever side of the border you live on, and with prompt free shipping too. My only regret is that it took me a couple of googlings to find them. :)

Zinc Gem Jar ring
I was very happy to find this ring. I only needed one. I also ordered the Gem glass lid insert with rubber ring. Both are exactly what I was looking to find. I found an old Improved Gem jar at the local thrift store for $.50. So I researched covers and this is what I found. Perfect. I’m putting together an eclectic collection of Ball, Kerr, Gem, Hormel, etc glass jars that are fun to display, but also useful. This site is now on my favorites list. I’ll be back I’m sure. Nice vintage quart size mason jars. As described, well packaged and arrived promptly. Was nice to be able to by twelve at one time with the bulk option.
