One of the best things about these mason jars is that they are eco-friendly because they're made out of glass. A great way to say thanks, they are perfect to send or receive as gifts to every name on your list, and a tumbler is something easy to have around the house since they are so useful. Going to any parties now that the world is opening back up? Give a gift that is on everyone's list, you can even have your tumbler shipped anywhere in the world!
(though shown in gold above, these tumblers will come with silver lids and straws)
Please note, the harm plastic is inflicting on our bodies and our planet is serious business. But change is tough. Ditching plastic -- especially the single-use variety -- can be overwhelming. At Mason Jar Merchant, we believe swappin’ plastic for glass is the best way to start your low-waste journey!
Let's review just a few of the reasons we LOVE glass. Maybe you can name a few more!
It's easy to be confused due to all the different options out there and we want you to be safe and keep the planet clean at the same time. We've made it our business to look at all of the items we use around the house and on the go to see if we should keep the items we have on hand or do some additional work to review our environmental impact. There's more than one option out there. We want to say thanks for taking the time to look at our list.
This beach tumbler is made one at a time by hand with: one 24 oz/750 ml mason jar (more than the 20 oz you're used to), one mason jar straw lid, and one stainless steel straw with a coordinating silicone straw tip.
Please choose the design of your beach tumbler, (and a design for a gift too!) you may wish to order extra stainless steel straws or other accessories.
Make sure your jar can't leak on your way to the beach. Grab a flat to make your tumbler sealed and leak-proof here.
If you would like a custom size, please message us. We like when you get creative can make most tumblers in any size that you'd see a standard cup in, from 8 oz to 32 oz. We can also do most other custom requests so please make your custom requests known! We can add custom graphics, want your name or someone else's name on a tumbler, we can do that too! Have a special logo or sign you'd like to add to a tumbler? We've got you covered. As long as you don't need glitter, we've got you covered. We will review your request, get back to you with any information you might like to add, or anything we need to know and add your custom tumbler to our production line.
We think saying tumbler beach is weird, but our SEO program wants us to add it for relevancy, so here you go.
I mean, if you already have a glitter tumbler you may as well use it for as long as you can, but we made a pact to never use glitter again once we knew all of the facts about glitter and glitter tumbler. If you have any facts to add please send them to us.
Releasing glitter into the environment is not just a frivolous act. It's also contributing to an ever-growing problem of microplastics in our natural habitats.
Microplastic pollution has been called "the next big environmental issue" and we are only beginning to understand how problematic this really is for all life on Earth, including humans.
Microplastic consumption has been shown to harm both small organisms like planktons as well larger creatures like whales; these items build up gradually inside of their systems until they ultimately lead to fatal consequences, which include choking on ingested plastic pieces or being starved because micro-particles block important nutrients from reaching the stomach lining.
Furthermore, glitter can release harmful chemicals that disrupt hormones from the plastic it is made of which in turn can affect humans and animals. Anytime we add 'hormone disruption' to the list, that's a big sign that we need to stop using it!
