'Self Sealing - Trade Mark Reg.' Square Pint
This vintage 1940's and early 1950's regular mouth pint is the most popular size to replace all the water glasses in your cupboard. Why have a regular glass when you can have a mason jar you can throw a lid on and store in your fridge, freezer or gym bag? Add one of our straw lids and take it with you on the go!
All jars are guaranteed to be chip, crack, and rust free, though vintage jars can have very slight "flea bites" in the rim that do not affect the performance of the jar.
Fits any regular mouth jar lid, or a gorgeous addition to any jar collection.
Height: 5 1/8 inches tall without lid.
Diameter: approx 3 inches.
Volume to neck: 500 ml / 16 oz.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Hello, How do you know the year on this jar? I was not able to find a chart or anything of any kind to date the Kerr jar. Thanks
Great question! As far as I know, all the thousands of jars we've handled, all Kerr jars from the early 1940's to the early 1990's have a 2 digit date printed on the rim. So, in every case we've seen that fit that criteria, a 47 means 1947, an 83 means 1983 and so on. They seem to have stopped dating them in that way in the late 90's. I hope that helps. :)
