Zinc Gem Jar ring
I was very happy to find this ring. I only needed one. I also ordered the Gem glass lid insert with rubber ring. Both are exactly what I was looking to find. I found an old Improved Gem jar at the local thrift store for $.50. So I researched covers and this is what I found. Perfect. I’m putting together an eclectic collection of Ball, Kerr, Gem, Hormel, etc glass jars that are fun to display, but also useful. This site is now on my favorites list. I’ll be back I’m sure. I was very happy to find glass GEM lids in stock on your web site. I do as much of my canning as possible (and all my fermenting) in all glass jars, and while I find it easy enough to pick up GEM jars in thrift stores, they are too often missing the old glass lids. Now I’ve almost got enough lids for my jars!
